I got Sky Dive, Long Range and Dee-Jay figures as well as an AGP (the 2005 convention version...I don't like it as much as the original I had as a kid but it does the job).
So now I feel I am in the home stretch with vintage vehicles - pretty much scouring for excuses to add a few more smaller vehicles/trailers to round out my joe-verse. |

Bought the 1994 MISB Blockbuster from eBay. Probably overpaid for it, but I am very happy with it.

Got a BF 2000 Sky Sweeper and Eliminator 4WD today. Also decided to offload my Avalanche and Raider - both are bigger than I would like and take up precious dwindling space in my collection area. I am hoping to get the rest of my vintage wants checked off the list in terms of vehicles/figures by the end of summer and then depending on what this Retro Line is all about perhaps focusing on it (really hoping for a return to ARAH o-ring figures!).

I found a guy on eBay selling 3D printed Joe accessories. The Sgt Slaughter Baton is excellent, the Heavy Metal mic is a perfect fit, and the WORMS antenna fits great also. Unfortunately, after trying and failing 7-8 times to get the Lift Ticket Mic to fit, SNAP! It broke.
Anyone here have the actual Lift Ticket mic, and know whether or not it fits easily? The guy is going to send me a replacement. A picture of the 3D parts with the figures is attached.

Got an AGP, Darklon's Evader and the Cobra Rage. The Rage shell is a mess - really dirty and discolored which is disappointing but I think I will just get a better condition rage shell and transfer the parts over to it as the doors, turret, missiles etc are all in good condition (Got a Rock Viper and Saw Viper - both of those figs really fit in with the Rage color scheme nicely and I will now have all three versions of the Rage - the original, the 98 version and the 2011 version
(Fury)). Also need to get a replacement engine cover for the AGP (I remember getting one for my birthday so it's cool to have one again.) I also won a few auctions - one for the Dreadknok cycle and another for the Artic Blast. The lack of news on the Wal Mart Retro line is a little frustrating - I'd like to get new 3 3/4" Joes for my collection and avoid the after market for a little while but intil news comes out I think I will just keep plugging along trying to get what I can from ebay. Recently picked a nearly complete Python Patrol Stun and parts for a Python Patrol ASP off eBay. Found them both from Canadian sellers so didn’t get hit with higher shipping or customs costs.
Looking for 2 flags for the Python stun and 1 blast shield for the python asp. |
