Got some loose figures today; the first I've gotten in a long time! I don't actively still collect ARAH anymore, due to age, cost, not really fitting in with modern stuff, etc., but it's nice to get a few figures I missed originally (Liu Kang and Dice) or stuff I used to have (Lamprey and Crazylegs).
Still need to do some more paint retouching; Dice needs some serious TLC--look how faded his torso is!; some joints need tightening; and, Crazylegs needs a new waist/crotchpiece (any of you guys have one?). At least I still have Lampreys' gun and all of Crazylegs' gear.

Nice to see another Mudbuster/90s Joe fan here! I think the Mudbuster is a pretty cool basic vehicle - a solid utility vehicle versatile for any environment.
In looking at prices on complete 90s vehicles (specifically 91-94) I think it's feasible for me to go back and get some of the vehicles I had (and can recall fond memories of) or missed out on completely. These are going to be my must haves: 1. Badger 2. Cobra Earthquake 3. Cobra Parasite 4. Brawler 5. Patriot 6. Scorpion Outside of those I still need to get a Slaughter's Marauders Lynx and a Battle Bunker and then I can pretty much have what I want for my collection in terms of vehicles from the original ARAH run. |

I have a complete Patriot if anyone is looking... it's not a memorable vehicle, but if you want to finish a collection, let me know.

I used to love my Mudbuster, Parasite, and what I considered my Paralyzer, which was actually a Sonic Boom tank. Damn cool stuff if you ask me, even if the 80s kids might have had it even better : )
(And yeah, of course I still love them too...) |

LOL! I can't pull the trigger on it. Even when checking out the Parasite and Brawler last night on Ebay I immediately had second thoughts so they might be off the list as well. The Mudbuster, Badger, Earthquake and Scorpion I can make room for in my Joe Verse but looking back even the 10 year old me traded my Parasite away for a Battle Bunker. I am going to go with my inner child on this! However the Monster Blaster APC did catch my eye and looks like it could fit in well in my collection.
I spent alot of last night going through the vehicles year by year on Yojoe.com and now can confidently say I have identified the remaining vehicles I want from every era ARAH, VvV/Spy Troops (I know lol) and the vehicles from the 2008-2015 line. My updated list: 1. Badger 2. Earthquake 3. Scorpion 4. Monster Blaster APC 5. Slaughter's Marauder's Lynx (completes the set for me) 6. Cobra Condor or ROC Night Raven 7. Battle Bunker or VvV Quick Strike 8. VvV Thunderwing Jet 9. Street Fighter Devastator (the purple snow cat - throw cobra stickers on it and give it to the Techno Vipers!) 10. Spy Troops Polar Blast I am having a few internal debates and or issues: Condor or ROC Night Raven - The Condor is the superior toy obviously but I have space/monetary limits which is pushing me towards the ROC Night Raven which is a nice homage to the original Night Raven at a more manageable price point and easier to store. I really like both the VvV Quick Strike and Thunderwing jet (probably the wrong thread for this). I actually collected quite a lot of the Spy Troops/VvV line but were never able to get either of these. From what I can tell they aesthetically fit in with my Joe Verse much more so than anything else from that era besides the three humvees (which I had but sold last year as I immersed myself back into vintage ARAH). Both seem to be fairly rare and somewhat pricey. Sorry for the rant and hijacking this thread! |
