Hey, a sweet deal is a sweet deal! Next time you swing one, no need to compare it to others. Just have fun with it in it’s own right! |

Yeah, you're right. I fully intend on enjoying them, when they arrive... I'm sweating on that right now. I know 99% of the time things come through the postal service unscathed, but knowing my luck it'll be the 1% of the time they go missing!

I once scored about $700 worth of Star Wars stuff, for $100 shipped. I thought for sure the person was gonna back out of the deal. Sure enough, it all arrived. It took 4 large boxes for them to ship it all to me (stacked they measured over 6 feet tall!). I felt a little bad/guilty, because it cost the person $88 to ship it all, which means they only got $12 after shipping, and all of that would go to ebay fees! (I think maybe it was a mother or x-wife just getting rid of everything). Anyway, that's what your comment reminded me of. And, years later, I still haven't found as good of a deal again. *BUT*, I have found many more, smaller deals & steals, and each one of those have been a lot of fun. I think, sometimes, newer collectors are more likely to find incredible steals on eBay, because they tend to look at more auctions in great detail, checking all the photos and reading the full descriptions. Where, those of us who have been at it for several years, are more likely to have a "ya, ya, seen it, done it, NEXT!" approach. |

This means I effectively paid £6.50 each for Tiger Force Blizzard, Tiger Force Hit and Run and European Spirit, all complete. That's alongside some other nice figures too like a Tracker with raft that I didn't have previously, but you can understand why I'm not quite so excited about him! |

Got a Septic Tank for $.99 cents the other day. Finished it with ToyHax.com decals.

Needs a Toxo-Viper, Sludge Viper, and Toxo-Zombie next to it, but looks great!
Oh, and a Cesspool too of course. Maybe those giant mega-marine monsters too, lol. Though I think you said you don’t collect vintage figs. |

A septic tank? I have one buried in the yard I would have given you for free. When they made us all get sewers about 15 years ago the septic tank got unhooked and just sits underground.
