Gold Head Steel Brigade Question

Can anyone definitively say when this figure was released (i.e. what year)? Is it a fact it wasn't mailed out until '92, or is there a possibility it shipped some in the 80's? I've found '92-'93 to be the years it supposedly shipped, but Bellomo has it together with the regular Steel Brigade figures in his book (obviously to show the variants of the figure), but I would have hoped he would have pinned a more definite year on it. Any insight would be appreciated.

Does anyone know when the gold head SB first started showing up in mail boxes?

I received one in the mail in 1992 along with a Ninja Viper. I have never heard of them being shipped before 1992. Not saying they didn't, but I haven't seen or heard anything otherwise.

Yeah, I found out after posting this that it was definitely a 1992 figure.

Yeah, Gold head gets grouped together with the 87 silvers in the guides and stuff but its a 92 thang.
