Neat ideas. The python patrol colors seem off a bit, but that may be due to the camera lighting. The tiger force needs teh sharkmouth on it somewhere too lol.

Custom Viper and Falcon gliders $5 for both
Made from sturdy material, they are more durable than the original ones. Smaller, they are easier to display any 3 3/4 or 4 inch figue.

Looking at the glider photos in this thread brings back some good memories. I had the cobra glider when I was a kid. I used to throw it out the window into my backyard, then run downstairs to get it, and do it over again!

I have good memories from my youth of sailing those Falcon and Viper Gliders around in our backyard with my brother, until we busted them up into fragments in the course of a day or two. Then we kept the action figures, and the rest went in the trash.
Three decades later, in 2010, my children wanted me to purchase 1983 Falcon and Viper Gliders for them to play with. A quick look at eBay determined that it wasn’t practical or affordable for us to make such a purchase, so I decided to make a set of gliders out of corrugated cardboard, overlaid with posterboard, black sharpie, and laminated adhesive plastic for rugged child play. That was around 2011, I think. Fortunately, these things haven’t fallen apart yet, even though they’ve been tossed around and banged up over the years. Today we grabbed one of the gliders, and paired it with some of those nifty new 2017 Cobra action figures for a few outdoor pictures. I’ve never engaged in the recreational activity of hang gliding, but just posing these action figures for this picture made me realize the amount of work Cobra would have to go through to stage and deploy these craft.

This morning, I realized that I had only photographed one of the two gliders yesterday, so in fairness to you and the G.I. Joe team, here is the 2013 Grunt (v.13) action figure from the Figure Subscription Service # 1-06, gliding through a canyon with his simulated 1983 Falcon Glider.
