This is a paperwork variation, so if you're not interested in paperwork you might want to skip this thread.
There's two versions of the Rage blueprints. The standard prints, and one with the vehicle outline filled in with a light blue. The pdf is kind of big, so I'm just going to post the link. Variant Rage blueprints JoeIndex - 1990 Cobra Rage Anyone else have a set of these? I've only ever found one set colored like this. |

The more I think about it, the more I think "Rage" is a really stupid name for this vehicle.

Bit of a tangent, I picked up a mint complete one recently, The swing down gun (On the left side) doesn't close with it's end cap on! I realize it's made to fit a certain way, which I have but it just is too big for the recess, it works fine without it, is this common?

Destro's Dominator from the same year has the same type of variation.

I just took the whole thing off, pushed the end cap on til it couldn't go on any further (There's some detailing that prevents it) then re-attached, still no joy! It does sort of close but the effort involved is scary as you have to bend the whole thing!

Yeah, I have noticed these variations on some of the later blueprints. Extra shading, darker coloring, etc.
Also, some of the earlier vehicle prints come in blue and blue ink as well as different years printed on them. I have seen the Manta in blue and black for sure. I will have to check for the others when I get home. Quote:
Then you still have it on wrong. The nub on the back of the gun should just slip past the side of the vehicle when stowing the gun. If it doesnt, twist the cap until the groove inside lines up and the cap slides all the way on. |
