The Timber looks hilarious...not for me though. I'll pass on this line.

well... it should have been obvious, Hasbro does it with all their other 'boys' licenses... Transformers, Indiana Jones, Marvel Super Heroes, Star Wars.... My son has a ton of these things and they're fun to play with (we build armies in the kitchen then use a ball to try and knock each others army down... so theres that) That all said, I will probably be buying a few depending on the characters released.

i'll pass on these. i don't like that style of figure one bit. a friend of mine used to collect some of the Star Wars ones, and i constantly questioned what the appeal was. he never had an answer other than "gotta buy somethin". he no longer collects them.
i don't see a whole lot of upside to these being released, quite frankly. yeah, it shows Hasbro's confidence in the Joe brand, but i don't foresee them selling well at all. Hopefully it won't siphon too much production and design time from the 25A/ME figures. |

I liked Galactic Heroes and the Super Hero Squad but only bought a few of them when they first came out. I feel like the style doesn't fit GI Joe as well as they do the other properties.
I'll probably pick up SE at SDCC while I'm there but I don't think I'll buy any others. |
