Sorry if there’s already a similar thread out there, but…
I’m interested in possibly buying a few non-G.I. Joe brand realistic military vehicles that would be compatible with the 4 inch POC figures, or 1:18/1:16 scale. I’d love something of good quality and reasonably priced that has room for quite a few figures, maybe 4 or 5. I’d prefer something that is land-based, like a tank, infantry fighting vehicle, personnel carrier, etc. And I’d love to get at least 2, one for displaying Cobra figures, another for Joes. I’d also consider some smaller, lighter vehicles like jeeps, motorcycles, or something akin to the AWE Striker, etc. I’ve never been much of a vehicle collector, so I’m not very familiar with what’s out there. If anyone has any suggestions on what to get, I’d love to hear them. Thanks. |

BBI and True Heros have some good stuff. PowerTeam Elite also has some great vehicles. You can find them at BigLots or JcPenny website

Power Team Elite is the way to go. They're decently priced and look great with Joes. There are several style Humvees, a jeep, Abrams tank, Little Bird helo, ATV's, and more. Plus, they came out last year with Chinese vehicles that you can use as Cobra vehicles.

Like most have said about the PTE stuff. It's the best for Joe scale. Some BBI stuff is a little small. You can occasionally find some chap mei items also that work decent. I got some construction items that work great with the figures. Here's the power truck. Figures fit well without being cramped. It's hit or miss with chap mei though. They can be a pain to find too.

The CORPS! stuff works decently as well but isn't that realistic.

Wow guys, great info, thanks. I've noticed a few of the True Hero and PT Elite stuff on the internet. I saw a Youtube review for a Bradley infantry fighting vehicle a while ago, looked like it could seat quite a few figures, but I don't recall what brand it was. Looked pretty nice though.
I'm gonna go check out this PT Elite stuff though, sounds great! |

Haha, PT Elite horses and camels?! I think my POC Zartan needs a camel...I've gotta get some of those.
Great vehicles, even the small ones. Looks like they're very affordable, too. Now, will POC figures fit comfortably in most of these, or is it a bit of a tight fit? |

Varies. The Boat fits all characters. I have it filled with the Joe's Scuba/Navy team as well as one poc Beachhead. The IFV has the ease of being wider though most of the figures in the back have to go in sidewise it's not terrible and the front is very roomy. I have had a number of people in the front though with the purchase of a classic apc they have gone into storage. The f-18 can sit any figure that's not Double holstered at the hip. Wildbill couldn't fit in it but Hawk and Cpt. Ace could. The Headquarters I would recommend you buy. Again it may be replaced with the HQ from back in the day but I like it more. It comes th many accessories. The dirtbike is big enough to have one Joe drive another shoot. The Motorcycle works excellent with joe as well as the machine grenade launcher. It was a fun piece and when I get a bigger place it is so becoming a Dreadnok bar. I also know there is something called the Freedom Network Operation. They have this odd golf cart and this very nice desert Awe Striker. I can take pictures of these later if you like?

^Sure atomsmasher, I'd love to see some pics if you don't mind. I like the idea of some of these HQ playsets and such, that come with small vehicles and accessories. Sounds very cool.
