I love the line and sold off almost all of my older versions thus far.
V1 Storm Shadow and Wild Weasel are works of art IMHO.

It's amazing. The line started at 10 figures and has blossomed to, what, 80-odd now,? With more on the horizon and vehicles in the pipeline too, the 25th anniversary has exceeded all of my expectations. Looking back, if the line had ended with those initial two 5-packs I would have been very annoyed!
I never thought I'd see GI JOE return in a form that even vaguely resembled it's 'classic' style, so seeing this range is truly a revelation. That they're such excellent updates of the characters from our childhoods is great news, and the care gone to recreating the packaging is a massive bonus.
Thanks Hasbro! Now how about a UK release (Fat chance I know, but I can dream can't I?)

I'm not happy with my Viper. His hands are weird...can't hold the gun the way I want him to. Also his goggles won't stay on. He's not the Viper I was hoping for....

Other than the distribution problems and a few odd sculpting choices, I'm very happy. Seeing these beloved characters displayed on my shelf gives me warm, tingly feelings inside. Or maybe that's my coffee buzz.

Distribution seems to be pretty bad but it is because hasbro under estimated the success this would have. At least that is what I read.
I live in Canada so distribution here is horrible.
unfourtunetly, figures will always have re-releases and re-used parts, it happens in all toy companies.
None the less, as mentioned I am overall happy with everything. I can't wait to see what the new prototypes look like and I can't wait to here news for more vehicles and dvd battle packs and more 5 packs.
Thinking about it, we have quite a lot of good stuff on the horizion.
