So I got off work today and stopped by Target before going home in hope of finally finding wave 7. As I approached the Joe isle, I see a father with 3 boys standing in front of the Joes. Sure enough there they were. I stood back and watched the boys debate over which figures to get between the three of them and who had enough money to buy what. That brought back some good memories from my childhood. They ended up with SE and a comic pack because they realized they had to get their mother a gift. After they left, I ended up with a full set of wave 7 and an extra hiss driver for Primenemesis. It was really cool though to see kids getting the opportunity to choose which figure they liked best and actually being able to buy it.

That is really cool. I like to see things like that to.
I would image their dad was a Joe Fan like us all here. "Passing the Torch" so to speak. Very touching story. Cool for you to, to get the figures you wanted. |

I love starting new memories with my boys and the new G.I. Joe toys the way my father and I started off 25 years ago. Hers to hoping that in 25 years I will get the chance to see my grandkids discover their version of G.I.Joe. Isnt it funny how a toy can bring generations together.

As a side note, I didn`t mention earlier was the cashier that when he saw the figures said "these are cool, I didn`t know they remade these. I`m gonna have to get`em". It`s great to see just how many people love Joes. |

Yeah, someone recently posted a story about some lowlife scalper attacking a kid over an action figure.
It's great to read nice stories like yours, though. It helps keep me from despising all people. |
