Working at Walmart helps. I work third shift and someone from second shift usually puts them out, but that might be around 7pm. Fortunately, they're still around at 10 when I come in. When wave 7 came in the other day, it totally caught me off guard. We had 2 trucks that night and when I went to look at the prenotification report (to see if we were getting any in), I could only look at one truck. Turns out the 3 cases of Joes we got in were on the second truck.
But yeah, working there definitely helps. |

But when I was calling another city's Wal-Mart two nights ago, the person that was in the toy dept. at the time told me she had absolutely no idea what was going to be on the truck that night. Was she just pulling my leg to get me off the phone? Granted I had JUST found the remnants of wave 7 at that store, that day, so the likelihood of them getting more RIGHT AWAY is pretty slim, but they could have been there for a few days already. With gas as expensive as it is, and my local Wal-Mart's pegs clogged with wave 4 (17 figures... only a few more until they get more, apparently), getting them just a mile or two away isn't likely for quite some time, and I'd like at least a little help from the employees, and its not as if I am rude or snotty or anything.

I gotta say the best way is just check anytime you have time or if you happen to be in the area or going by there on your way to somewhere else. That how I have done it also check the sightings on the boards in your area , and post when you find them that way people can help you when you help them. Good Luck!

Did you ever come over to the Louisiana Joe Sightings Board? Some of our friends on these boards have reported fist-fights breaking out over the 25th Joes. Can you believe that? |

The last 2 weeks at a walmart, I have found wave 7 on the palette at 10PM on the exact same day. Coincidence?

I usually am running my errands on Friday mornings, so that's when I find them. TRU has been best for me (there are two on my way home from work), Walmart and Target have been usually empty, except for comic packs. Those, Walmart is the best, Target seems to have wave 1 peg warmers. Although all of them have been pretty pathetic with the line. I've never seen full pegs, have only seen the TRU exclusive officers twice, and only the Target Night Specter once, I've never seen the hiss and awe striker.
The stores are really packed with Speed Racer and Indy stuff right now, but with Speed Racer allegedly tanking at the box office, maybe that'll change soon. I really wish TRU would actually arrange the Joe stuff together. They've got it all squeezed in among their PTE line, bbi, 21st, and McFarland. |
