Seriously, with all of these fantastic customs that are being made form the new 25th ann style bodies, It would be awesome if Hasbro held a contest for fans to customize a figure that hasn't been officially released yet. The winner would have their custom mass produced and released with the official line. Maybe print the name of the winner on the front of the cards.
Some of these customs are better than what Hasbro has put out. What do you guys think?

that would be awesome, if hasbro were to do the contest they should select more than one winner tho, give us a whole wave, i think its a great idea and couldnt agree more about some of these customs being better then what hasbro is giving us.
have you seen kalibus's undertow and techno viper, those customs should be mass produced immediantly, props to kali.

I like the idea, but I think it would probably be a problem for them...simply because they would then be flooded with, "Why don't you hire so, and so?" questions etc.
Personally I think Hasbro likes to keep their heads out of customs, they know we do it, and if we enjoy joy it god bless, in fact I think they know customs causes people to buy extras but its just an area they don't wanna acknowledge or get into, and you know what? They have their hands full with the line as is. Now I do think this is something the Collectors Club should do though....hell I think they'd actually be able to get some cool easy figures from some custom ideas. |

All they'd need to do is be strict about the rules of the contest. Make it a one time thing as well.

Never even heard of that when it happened. Was this very under the radar? That's cool but the key word you used was "sorta". I'd like to see the winner get their custom officially released with the line.

Is front page news under the radar ?
Sounds like something a corporate lawyer wouldn't allow.

I'd just like to see a fan's choice figure.
MU did it, Star Wars did it. |
