I was in Colorado Springs last week, and I was delighted to see they had Ross stores there! So I went in to the 2 that I saw, and of course they didn't have the Jungle Terror or Black Hiss, but I did find a ROC Ripcord in RIA at one of them. I just can't pass the RIA figs up, as I use them as pilots in many of my vehicles. So I bought it. A couple of days ago, I finally opened it up and came across an insert in the bottom of the package that was folded. It was a paper "copy" of Ripcords filecard as shown on the back of the package. It was the same copy on both sides. I've had 2 other RIA Ripcords and numerous other RoC figures and have never seen this before. Have any of you?
BTW, the package was unaltered, and the figure was complete with all parts, so I doubt it was placed by anyone after it was shipped out.

The Canadian figs usually have the paper inserts. At least they did with 25th.
Discount stores get them in. I bought some Canadian 25th figures at Marc's. |

All the ROC joes I've bought at Ross (only a few mind you) have had those inserts. I just assumed they were foreign card figures, I think there may have been multiple languages on the card as well... but I can't remember.

Yeah, it's a Canadian version..you can clearly see the french and spanish languages on the box.. and I can see a #2 on the rifle too.. I think you have a rare Canadian variant!!!!
Send that figure to Mermaniel and send me that AV, please..

Off topic, but I use my RA Ripcord for a pilot as well. Here he is w/Resolute 5 pk Duke in my Thunderwing. That is ROC Sandstorm's helmet.
