Sandstorm and some other desert gear

Somebody asked if Sandstorm would look good with any other desert gear, so I tooks some out and did some pics.

The Duke pre Joe ROC patern doesn't match at all, but the back pack does work okay also desert Ripcord's pattern does not match at all either....

Here is Sandstorm with Zartan's hood, both with and without helmet...




I also tried Zartan's shoulder pack...its a pretty loose fit.

Personally I didn't like it.

Lastly and this is not desert but I gave him POC Beachhead's vest...


It does work but even that has issues with his short neck...still overall its the best fit...the helmet does NOT work with this look at all.

I did strap goggles on him which do work but he looks too much like desert Snake Eyes or Firefly....




I found this to look odd in both instances it really does not fit well with the helmet which is too big but fits in the hood, and Sandstorms head swims in it without helmet...in both cases I had to use a backpack to keep it in place and it still looked odd.

Next Sandstorm and Major Bludd's scarf...

Works a little better, but Sandstorms small neck causes issues...honestly this is even an issue with his helmet it all sits to low.



So I hope that helps some people who have yet to obtain Sandstorm.

try the sandstorm gear on him, it looks decent with the Sandstorm head on there too.. I put that on and then Zartans pouch with the masked head in there for...extra sand protection when need

I took the Zartan figure and put the extra Dusty head (the masked one) on him with Sandstorm's vest. Looks pretty good.

Useful stuff.

Another combination might be one of the vests of that desert 5pk. Basically they have the same colours, so you might even switch legs, or repeater's hat for example...

I used the extra head and vest that came w zartan and gave it to sandstorm. Wish I could get the goggles and the helmut on at the same time though. Oh well.
