Dont know if this has been brought up before. I just found out yesterday about this and wanted to share for those new to the fold and those that didnt know.
Its a Finnish gun used in WW2 against the Russians, and later when Finland's allegiances turned again it was to be used on the Germans. Meant to be an anti tank rifle it soon became obsolete when the Russians improved their tank armour. It often took 2 men to transport. Its final useage often consisted of dummy rifles being laid out with a manequin. the Lahti rifle team would wait for a sniper to shoot at the mannequin and fire on the sniper when he revealed himself.
Why Hasbro picked this gun Im not sure but its pretty awesome and has become a much sought after collector piece for gun enthusiasts most of the ones in operation now have been modified to fire a special type of 50cal ammo(if I read that right) because the cost of 20mm ammo is through the roof.Others have been modified into 20mm Vulcans (english anyone?)
