The hunt for G.I. Joe

Today I went to quite a few places looking for Joes, so I decided to just make a thread rather than search down each single store thread and post in them. It's easier this way. Anyhow...Started off going to TJ Maxx in Kingsport TN...the only joe related stuff was some tired ROC molepods...very disappointing. Went to the Ross next to it, No joes whatsoever. Even more disappointing. Went to Big Lots in the same area, Found two comic packs: Resolute Destro/Shockblast(which I got) and Beachhead and ?(indicates I was low on sleep and couldn't remember the character...must have not been that important) left the Beachhead set and bought a Batman Joker figure as well. Next went to Target in Bristol TN...POC wave 2 lots of it, with the exception being Recondo. Mostly Destro and Tornado Kick SE clogging the pegs. Was surprised to see two Jungle Vipers, as I've never seen them in the wild before. Next, went to yet another Ross...absolutely nothing. Another TJ Maxx...and I hit paydirt...HOH Snake Eyes(both versions), Gold face viper, Storm Shadow, Crimson Guard and some ROC figures. Now, I would have bought the Gold Face Viper and one of the Snake Eyes, but I was out of money thanks to buying the damn Joker figure at Big Lots. Does anyone have any HOH figures for sale? All in all a pretty fulfilling day...didn't get as much as I wanted, but at least I picked up the Resolute 2 pack.

Nice score...hate when I go hunting and there are just peg warmers or nothing of note at all.

Guess I will share some of my hunting today too. Went to Gurnee Mills north of Chicago and hit up a Toys R Us. Man it was crazy in there, hard to navigate threw the slew of parents with shopping karts and the line to the registers were insane. Had to be over a dozen karts waiting...anyway, just peg warmers with destros and se and one beachhead. Would've picked up the 2 for 9.99 Marvel but was not going to stand in line for a half hour. Next went to TJ Maxx and had a bunch of stuff on clearance, including Mole Pods galore and some ROC figures. Had a table full of HOH, saw Crimson Guard, Beachhead, Viper with Gold Mask, and Zartans. Didn't pick any up as I have em all and just recently picked up a gold mask viper at another TJ Maxx closer by.

Tomorrow morning going to go to the Toys R Us close by early to beat the rush and see if any Marvel Universe are worth getting with the 2 for 9.99. Also going to go to Big Lots and see what they hae and round it off with TJ Maxx and pic up some 25th figures and vehicles been holding off getting . The 25th figures are only 2 bucks a pop and looking to get a couple paratroopers, a blue colored ninja, and maybe a flight pod set, and get back before football at noon.

well today for my toy hunt finally got me a quick kick in the wild at my local TRU here in Carolina Puerto Rico and another firefly and two days ago finally found me a sinestro corps cyborg superman all and all i was a good wkend
