I have been reading alot of the feedback about the M.A.S.K. Trakker figure and it appears that there are alot of you who are not happy. We are all collectors now, but we used to be kids who played with all different sorts of toys. I used to(and stiil do) collect anything from Thundercats, Transformers, He-Man, Defenders of the Earth, MASK, etc(You get my point) and there was aways one problem, size of the toy. I liked to combine universes and use all my toys together, I mean it was awesome when Cobra invaded Castle Greyskull or the Thundertank took on the Mobile command Center, but then you ran into the fact that MASK were the size of a Joe's leg and Joes were the size of a Thundercats leg etc(Transformers worked for the size differences, but stay with me). I for one am a stick to the roots kind of guy, but this series is a blessing. We were only supposed to get 25 and now we are getting everything(eventually). Look at the star wars line, they make everything and I mean EVERYTHING. Concept figures, guys who stood in the background, fan choices, guys from the comic that I've never heard of(sorry SW fans I 'm a GIJOE guy), 2 years form now we could have a Larry Hama and a Hector Ramirez. They way I see it, I would love it if they incorporated other toy lines into this line. It certainly beats 7 repaints of 1 figure and it works wonders for customs. Half of you probably make customs of these characters anyway. Sorry to rant like this, but there is an old saying of "never look a gift horse in the mouth." Besides, who wouldn't buy a 25th Panthro figure?

I want no monsters or beasts! Thundercats have their place and it aint with GI Joe. I like the Mask idea though if it leads to MASK stuff in the ilk of 25th Joes.

ill just say this, if they made ever toy line from the 80's in 3 3/4 then those of us who collect them can either us, or not use them but still collect them and have them on the same scale as joes. only, sad to say, not he-man. i think i would want these on the same scale as the old ones because i would want them compatible with the 80's figures.

eh, so long as he's Trakker in facial appearance and name alone I guess it's not so bad. But if his filecard says something about the MASK history or if he has MASK accessories, I'm jumping ship.

I think they should have the MASK logo as the replacement on his card (since future waves will not have the 25th Anniversary logo). I'll also be very disappointed if he does not come with one of his masks from the original cartoon/toyline. |
