This is a great idea!!!
I always wanted to collect the mask figures but hated the little figures. Perhaps this is a test to see how well the figure sells. Maybe we shall get a whole new line by the end of the year.

I like it...as long as it's a one-shot. I don't want there to be several MASK vehicles and figures incorperated into G.I. Joe, just like I don't like the Star Wars Transformers line. Just a few is fine.
I look at it this way: There's never going to be a relaunch of MASK. As cool a toy as it was, there just isn't enough interest for them to redo a whole line. So it's nice that we can at least get Matt Trakker. It's like with the new Masters of the Universe line, if they did a She-Ra figure or a Bravestarr figure. There isn't enough demand to relaunch She-Ra or Bravestarr lines, but I hope that we can at least get one or two characters from another franchise released through the line that ended up winning the toy war. |

hump, when i voted yes and saw all the negative post i thought i was going to be part of the lesser group. this is once again why i like hisstank so much, people are more open minded to influences then just marvels comic.

I would have to see him before I would buy him. I am not crazy about this crossover. There are so many vintage Joes that need the 25th treatment.

TXBart,
"Maybe Larry Hamma is working on a M.A.S.K. relaunch story for Hasbro. Can we ask him if he writes story lines for other toy lines in the Q&A session?" Man, I am with you. Trakker could easily be written into the GI Joe universe as having received specialized training with experimental weapons. The storyline could feature Trakker's origin as that of a GI Joe experimental weapons expert whose responsibility is to develop new weapons for the GI Joe team. Much like Wheeljack from the Transformers, he functions as both an engineer and scientist. His revolutionary ideas are stolen by Miles Mayhem (a research officer at the Pentagon), and Trakker is reassigned to a new US government program designed to secretly stop Mayhem. I know that MASK is privately funded and not a tool of the US government, but I need support with the conclusion of his service to GI Joe and his segway to leading the MASK team. |

so. anybody decided to do some custom job on the existing 25th joe molds and turn them into M.A.S.K. figs?
that might give everyone an idea what Hasbro could be pulling. i think that seems fair. before i do any voting or any remarks of whatsoever.
