Hey guys, do you think when Tiger Force Flint is released that will drop the value of Wave 1 Flint?
I'm guessing Wave 1 Flint will never be released again. |

yes, but not by much. The die hard collectors will want a complete set......but........those who just want one of each wont care. So in turn their needs will have been met.

i doubt the price of the 1st Flint will drop due to the release of TF Flint. i think the number of collectors who want one of every figure far outweighs the number of collectors who will "settle" for any ol' Flint.

I see a lot of people (who missed out on Wave 1 Flint) repainting TF Flint. Wouldn't be too hard.

you're probably right, but i honestly think that the number of people who customize, or are willing to try customizing, isn't large enough to bring down the price of the original figure. it also wouldn't have any effect on MOC collectors.

I have Flint MOC & loose, too. And I already fixed him, but I will get the TF Flint, but only 1, as that'll be my MOC one. Dont need a loose TF Flint.

Maybe a little bit, but not by much. Tiger Force versions aren't really a substitute for originals in most people's minds, I think.
A cartoon accurate one might though, or certainly a repainted TF version with the correct arms (IF that actually happens). |
