got my doc saturday, may 3rd. hes nice, glad to have him blah blah blah.
seriously though......after 25 years, i STILL dont know what that accessory is supposed to be. you know the one. mortar/rocket? doubt it, hes labeled as a pacifist. flare? maybe, but he came with the flare pistol. supersoaker? for applying large amounts of neosporin very quickly. c'mon, what is it? |

i read that it is, in fact, a flare launcher and the canisters on either side of doc's helmet are the flares.
when i was a kid, i thought those were pill bottles. and now looking at how the respective canisters are painted on the 25th doc, reddish with a white top, it seems to me, again, to be pill bottles. |

Yeah, the old vintage figures actually named the accessories on the card and it was listed as a flare launcher back then. Funny you mentioned the pill bottles because I thought the same exact thing as a little kid when I had that figure, too!

Yeah, but why would he put pills on his head?
And what pills would they be? Tylenol and morphine?

^ that's even funnier if you read it in your best professor farnsworth voice.
i thought those were pill bottles on his helmet too. and they still are, as far as i'm concerned. that thing on the end of the launcher looks nothing like what's on his helmet. i doubt its morophine since that's usually administered with a syringe.

That just made my morning. I've been wondering the same thing myself.
