You've seen them all because you go three times a day. I shouldn't have to go three times a day to buy a dam guy
You just said you go three times a day, at lunch, after work, and before. So what if Target opens at 8. I'm not going to go to Target everyday and fight off 'collectors' Quote:
And I don't care if collector's get any at all. I am of the opinion that they should be played with, not treated like friggin gold. Giving them to you guys is a waste.

Cobras look good in numbers - it's built into their very concept: They're a terrorist army and I like them to be so represented on my shelf.
Personally I'm happy with 2 to 3 of each trooper type, but even if I wanted 55 of each, I'd expect to be allowed to pursue my hobby without inviting tacit implications that I'm a selfish git ruining some kid's day.

If you CHOOSE to buy your kids "collectables" you will have to fight other "collectors" for them. That's the bottom line. If you don't like it buy the CORPS for the kids, most wouldn't know the difference. Seriously, enough whining already. Buying it for yourself or for your kids, makes no difference. If the kids want Joes, they have to hunt and fight for them like the rest of us. Besides only a collector would come on here and make this much of a fuss about it. I have a sneaking suspicion, that it's not the kids who want these, it's their parents who want to use the kids as an excuse to buy toys. Guess what, you do not need an excuse, you can buy them for yourself if you'd like. No kids required. I collected various action figures as a kid, did I get all of them? Hell no! Even then some figures were nowhere to be found. That's how it works. Telling other people to give up their hobby, or not to buy what they want for the YOUR benefit is BS. Throwing a kid into the topic in an attempt to guilt people into your way of thinking is even worse.
Anti-child rank section-- I'm so sick of hearing about "the children" in everything in our society. Dumb down and censor our culture for "the good of our children". Enough already. The world is over-populated as it is. Show some responsibility and practice birth control for the good of the planet. Now you know...and knowing is half the battle. |

I don't want THEM, I just want to be able to get a guy here and there when I normally goto Target. It is the collectors that want THEM, ALL OF THEM, even one they already have. |

Maybe I'm just reading these... posts... wrong but you seem to be contradicting yourself. Could you type in a language a little more coherent from now on? |

You signed up to a collectors board and have 53 posts in what? A couple of days? Waaaaaaay too obsessive for a the average parent looking to get some toys for their kid. I think we know who really wants these figures and it's not your kid.
If all you really want is to find a few figures on the pegs like you say, stop wasting time on this board and go get them. They ARE NOT all gone by 8:15 AM you are just being melodramatic. I NEVER go to the store when they open, only when I happen to be in the area. I have everything I could want with the exception of the new wave. I really don't know why you want to waste time arguing with a bunch of toy collectors on the internet, sign off and spend some time with your kid, for Christ’s sake. You could have fun hunting for toys together. If you're not a collector, you really have no reason to be here. |
