those pics show a greater height difference than i expected. i knew the 25a's were a bit bigger, but it seems a lot greater when the old and new are right next to eachother.
i've also heard varying reviews of how well the Vipers hold their weapons. everyone in this thread seems to say they hold their rifles extremely well. in other threads/forums i have heard just the opposite. strange. |

Nice pics indeed.
I love the figure as well but was taken aback by how easy the goggles pop off, the limited motion in the ankles which required me to do some "bending" to get the feet to stay straight, and the forearms that popped off way too easily in trying to get him to hold guns. He's still a great army builder, though! |

vestless Viper definately makes a good mechanic. I'm gonna try putting a Trooper head on him to see what it looks like.

Yeah that figure minus the vest looks nice. And he has the black Neck so the black masked Trooper will look nice.

Just opened my 1st Viper. I love him. Great detail all around. The removable vest is awesome, and the backpack is cool. Only annoying this is the loose goggles, looks like it's time to super-glue them. Also the ankles don't bend much at all.

ok so do these ankles have articulation or what b/c i am confused?
If they wont bend then put them in hot water or something to loosen up the plastic and make it for pliable... i know that a few of my 25th figs have been kinda have rigamortis to where its hard to bend stuff it almost makes a cracking noise.. it could just be the first run and the breaking in of the new molds since these are fresh off the press ;) |
