Who is the manufacture of the 1/18 scale armor tanks ya'll have been using lately for your 25th stuff?
You know, the Bradleys, Arbrhams and what not? Thanks - .

Check out smalljoes.com for the Elite Force 1:18 scale equipment (Black Hawks, Pave Hawks, Little Birds, Apaches, Humvees, LAVs, Bradleys, M1A1s, etc.) - they have the most stuff, and it's reasonably priced. But most of it's out of circulation. You have to look around. Blue Box Toys (bbi) produced this line.
The other line, Forces Of Valor: Bravo Team, can still be found in most Targets. They make the Bradleys and M1A1s from the same mold as the Elite Force ones, but are less expensive. For even cheaper stuff (although they're pretty much out of circulation now too), look for World Peacekeepers/Power Team Elite. The figures are a bit crappy, but the vehicles and accessories are decent - they had Jeeps, Little Birds, Chenowith Dune Buggies, and a smaller Black Hawk (which I painted up to use for Cobra). |

I guess part of the problem is I'm not really sure what I want really. :(
At first I was looking at old Maulers and whatever Joe tanks were in the updated line since then ('85), but I really didn't see anything I liked and then I remembered that the Mauler only held two figs in the body, and none in the turret, even like in a standing position like with the Mobat. :( The updated Joe tanks in the Joe line since then look too cheesey for my tastes, mainly I guess the reason I've stuck with more Humvees than anything else so far. :( I like the look and the idea of both the Abrams and the Bradley, I think what I REALLY would like is a Stryker, but no one seems to be making one in 1/18th now - http://images.google.com/imgres?imgu...icial%26sa%3DN I'm not that fond of the Bradley, but I guess it could do in a pinch for Steeler and bunch of other Joes to be able to pile into, and I really don't like that other older tracked vehicle that looks similar to the Styker that the military uses either - http://poe1.pointofexistence.com/poe/news98/AAVP7A1.jpg Hey, Sgt. Slaughter, how many Joes does that Abrams hold vs how many does the Bradley hold? LMK, maybe we can work something out. .

You shouldn't write off the LAV so quickly since it's just a Stryker with a turret:
There is also some Korean/Nam tanks from Forces of Valor that look nice: |
