I hope nobody takes offense to this, but I hope they never re-release Firefly or Flint. Not in the sense that I don't want anyone to have them, so I can brag...but it's cool knowing I have a figure that has some value or collectibility.
It's like if they went out and made tons of exact Gold SDCC Destro's, yellow Stalkers and Roddy Piper's, enough for everyone to have one...take the whole fun out of trading, seeking and talking about this great hobby. Anyone get my drift? (I hope) It adds a sort of excitement and ferver to it I think, no? Hasbro should pick one figure from each wave and never re-produce it. Like a limited run, that way people are more excited and into it, like it could be any figure so make sure you're there. Sorta like you have to be on point or you'll miss out and have to barter for them. It's like baseball cards, they are worthless (after 1987) because they made millions of each card. Today you can't find one person who gives a rats a$$ about them, not to mention the fact they are worthless. People, I think, have interest in hobby's where it's possible that you have one-of-a-kind or "rare" items which makes for interesting times. Maybe i'm just rambling, but it makes sense to me. Where I live the only peg warmer we have ever had is Buzzer. I honestly never saw a Firefly at retail. I bought mine off of ebay when he first came out and only paid $8 or so. Looks like he's gone up since then! LOL

Same was happen to V2 snake eyes. Now snake eyes becomes cheaper, they're starting to jack up Firefly. I bet you once Buzzer and Serpentor becomes unavailable for several months, it will be the same.
I am start to purchase all the Buzzer now. lol |

Given Hasbro's preference for the character (he is one of the few solid b-list Cobra villians that sell well consistantly), aside from the far superior comic pack version coming in June, I'll bet even money Firefly (along with Zartan and Snake Eyes commando) will reship later this year in some case revision.
