The recent Target 75% off sale made the Tiger Snake cheap enough that even an el-cheapo Joe fan like myself could afford one.

I think I would have more or less liked these as a kid. Seems like it could be fun in young hands, except it does have a few problems.
I do like the car by itself. Neat compact design looks like the T-Rex or other inverted trikes that are on the market. Nice side gun. The elite-viper is a decent figure for army building. Sure, the vest is clunky and the holster has no gun, but otherwise standing alone the car and driver are fine. They look decent beside that '83 Hiss Tank as a fast running scout or something. As long as you don't want to put the elite-viper in and out it looks fine, but it is a struggle to get the figure into the car. I thought his head was going to snap off in the process. But now he's in there apparently forever.
My complaint comes from the action feature.
It has been said before that the base is clunky and obtrusive. Sure. It also doesn't work well. It will shoot the Tiger Snake across the kitchen tile, but my wife pushing it sends it back faster. The grey cable is hard to insert and then it doesn't sit quite right.
If I had paid 14.00 (suggested retail) for this I would be ticked.
I paid 4 or 5 bucks a piece for a pair of them.
At that price they are fun. I don't need the action feature. It could go to a good home with the grey zip cable if anyone needs a spare or two I'd trade these off.
The Tiger Snake itself is a nice aggressive Cobra toy.
I'll take pics later when I get a chance.
