Does anyone know of a good product to use to repair minor scratching/scuffing on plastic packaging bubbles? I thought i saw something somewhere at some point and time that helps to improve the shine and fixes minor imperfections on such items that you basically just wiped on the packaging window. I might of saw it in some art store, but really don't remember. Thanks

Try using Novus plastic polish #2.
Should be able to find it online or any specialty store that deals with acrylic or plexiglass. |

Dollar store ( or not $1.00 store) furniture polish . Its a light wax and works like a champ on bubbles and dulled boxes.

Thanks for the replies. That Plastic Polish sounds interesting and seems like it might work the best. I'll check it out. Thanks

Try a SMALL dab of WD40 on a cotton cloth (Old T-Shirt) . Be sure to wipe any extra off with your cotton applicator.

Checked a few sites the Novus stuff looks good, everyone seems impressed with it. Works on all sorts of crap. The eye glass solution is a good idea as well. WD-40 seems odd, but if you say it works i might give it a shot on a BUZZER!!
http://www.novuspolish.com/ If anyone else is interested, I bought the complete kit w/cloths in the 8 oz. size which is probably more then enough to last me a lifetime. Best deal I ran across, here............. http://www.skygeek.com/novus-combo.html Last edited by Sysiss; 04-17-2008 at 06:15 PM.. |
