I found this Cobra Commander VARIANT at my local Wal-Mart in Las Vegas. NV. This figure has no cobra symbol on his chest. This is the only one that I have come across so far. Has anyone else found one yet?

That might be more of a paint error than a "true variant." At any rate, I'd hock that thing on ebay, because somebody would pay big bucks for it. Unless you wanna keep it, in which case, go to town. either way, neat. welcome to the Tank.

I agree, I don't consider obvious factory errors to be variants, but on ebay that is the term to use. I am willing to bet you can get about $30 now for it on ebay, and I would recommend doing so. I think the price of these errors will only go down, and in 5 or 10 years if people are trying to collect these figures they will go more for the accurate figures than the errors. strike now while the iron is hot.

Ebay it and use the profit to purchase more figures. I have the same figure without the logo loose.

No one will buy that piece of crap. We can all have that figure. All we have to do is rub our thumb on CC a few times. Bingo, we have one.
Sorry to crush your Ebay dreams. Just because the 12 year old factory slave was too busy being beat to put the Cobra symbol on, doesn't make it a "variant"... |
