Does anyone know if the value of the re-released wave 1, 2, etc figures will be less than the value of the original release of these waves? For example, will the original release of Snakes Eyes with Timber be worth more, or the same as the re-release of Snake Eyes with Timber that is currently hitting the toy shelves?

Based on my years of experience, i'd say the older, first runs are always worth more than the re-releases.

How will anybody be able to tell the difference between the two releases?

I would think it would be a matter of how many of each were made, and are there any real differences, other than the date stamp.Flint& cobra officer were scares for a long time.More came out, value dropped.I don't think the older ones were worth more.Cards are the same.
I'm not sure with something like the retooled SE w/timber though. |

Doesn't the newly released Snake Eyes V2 have a fixed crotch?

I think they're all worth the same price. The plastic is still the same no matter what some people think. I just don't understand why anybody pays upwards of $50 - $100 for a figure.

You honestly do not know why people pay more for hard-to-find items?? I think what you meant to say is you don't agree with, which is ok....not that you don't understand. It's pretty obvious why, I think. |

I'd say it's a little of both. I can't see paying that much money for plastic. I understand from a collector stand point, I just don't know why anyone would spend that kind of money for a toy. I'll admit I've dropped some coin on Vintage Joes, but for new ones that will be released again at some point I don't get it.
