After having read the Q&A's for 2008 (and all the others as well), I think Hasbro should consider the following. Creating a bonus wave (similar to the single packs at the end of 2007) that includes the following updates/fixes.
1. A black paint update of Snake Eyes v.2 w/ Timber with the updated/fixed crotch (both color Timbers as well, to help out those people that missed the black timber variant the first time around). 2. An updated Flint v.1 using the arms from Tiger Force Flint and the fixed Duke crotch. 3. An updated Duke version whatever with new, improved, fixed, and hopefully even functional arms and the updated Duke crotch. 4. Either Shipwreck and CC releases WITHOUT the closed fists (come on, they look good once in awhile, but otherwise they are a pain in the rear) OR a Roadblock with a re-tooled left hand. Seriously, what happened there? 5. Any other fixes or serious mold updates you guys have suggestions for (with the caveat that they should stick to the "make it right" school of thought. Oh yeah, and for Snake Eyes v.2, how about an updated sword similar to his scimitar from 1985 (but that's just hope and selfishness talking, as he's my favorite character of all time). You think he'd be best man at my wedding? He'd give a killer toast - "...." Okay, a little much. So, what does everyone think? |

If Hasbro is going to do a bonus wave of any kind it should be a wave consisting ONLY of COBRA troops. Vipers, Crimson Guards, B.A.T.s, Snow Serpents, etc. I'm sure we'll get all those Joe 'updated' figures somewhere down the line either as singles, comic pack figures, or included in some DVD/TRU exclusive pack.

Yeah, I can dig a troop builder wave/repack. Hopefully, one that won't get under produced like the Wave 9 internet exclus. case.

Troop builders, troop builders, troop builders.
Though, honestly, as a "bonus", I'd like to be able to find these frickin' figures, and not see anymore empty pegs, or the same, old pegwarmers like Serpentor or Hooded Cobra Commander... T_T" |

not to sound like an echo or anything, but... "troop builders" absolutely
Another thought I had, and I see this in other figure lines... extra exchangeable hands and (maybe) extra heads (for those figures in masks and helmets. ...and it just now occurred to me that they've never shown Beach-Head unmasked... |

Ever? Even in the cartoon or comics? Or do you just mean in action figure form?

Storm Shadow V2 without the arm bands and the tattoo in the right place...that's been bugging me since day 1.
I like the troop builder case idea as well.

Near as I can recall, he's never been seen unmasked in anything (comic, cartoon, or figures). He was seen with his face showing in a quick 1-2 second "art error" in one of the cartoons, but otherwise, I don't recall it ever being shown. (And they used to say SE had the mystery face)...

Yeah, even I will say... Troop Builders.
But it would be cool if the bonus wave was a wave of repacks like a Tele-Viper, and any of the other figure from the 2-packs that need the single treatment. |
