So whenever Hasbro decides to do the 25th anniversary version of Short Fuze, do you feel that he should have glasses like he did in the Marvel comics or not?

I'd say give him removable glasses. That will please everyone and I can have something for some customs.

I'm all about trying to keep each figure to closely represent its original counterpart as much as possible. In some cases though I think that a little touch here or there that gives a "regular" looking green shirt figure a bit of originality to separate it from the the rest is a good thing. For instance the original Zap did not come with a mustache, but I feel that if they make a 25th version he should. I feel the same way about Short-Fuze and his glasses.
As another member mentioned earlier, he should come with removable glasses. |

I also think removable glasses, that way it is like Breaker--those who want to give their soldier a little extra character can, those who want the boring, generic RAH model can have that too (I kid!).

Hmm... Good points. Though would it be easy to make removeable glasses for such a small sized figure? I know it's hard to do glasses on 6 inch figures and these are around 3 inch. So I think if he has glasses they'll be like the Baroness and part of his face mold.

The Baroness versions 6 and 8 came with removable glasses. I didn't like these very much because of the lenses. If they were just the black frames without lenses I would have liked them better. That would work great on a 25th version of Short Fuse.

On another note I feel that Short Fuse coming with glasses is like Breaker coming with that bubble gum bubble. I felt that extra touch gave him a unique individuality. It also made up for his extremely huge head. I still feel like swapping out his head with Rock N' Roll's head and painting the blonde hair and beard - dark brown or black. Since the original green shirts basically all looked alike, I felt they were a little boring. They were the figures I ended up playing with the least. I'm happy that Hasbro is giving some of them a little extra something to help them stand out from the rest. I was upset that they dropped the ball by not giving Hawk silver straps on his webgear, but I fixed that up with a silver Sharpie and now he really looks good.
