More than likely. They need to quit carrying those stupid gimmicky figs and role play things that never sell and always end up in clearance isles. I have a sneaking suspicion more action figs are gonna get nixed.bet we hardly see the dolls aisles get affected.

Yeah, I just posted a CNBC article basically saying the same thing. In the broader scope of things, I think toys are probably not going to be as effected as other areas, but then again, I have been seeing a lot of reports of Marvel Legends being pulled from Target's toy aisles altogether in some stores. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out... though if "cancelling orders" includes the TF/PP figures I've had on PO for 3/4 of a year now, I'm going to be a bit pissed off.

I have a feeling that this news ties into Emily saying last week (paraphrasing), "The inventory is available - we are just waiting for the stores to take delivery". I wonder if Target is trying to back out on stuff. I wouldn't sweat it - if it doesn't go to Target, Hasbro can just sell it all to us directly with Pulse. |

All the Joes I've bought from Target have been through their online store and they've been great to deal with even in cancellations. Fast shipment, great packaging. BBTS has nicer boxes, but Target packaged the ReAction figs I purchases in separate boxes, then put them in a larger box to keep them protected. |

Hell, I'd prefer it, provided they maintained enough of an inventory to go around.

That could be action figures. Think action figures are the demand right now compared to something like groceries?

Target is not eliminating departments, they are simply shifting spending to more in demand items as purchasing patterns have changed.
That?s because Target is no longer carrying Marvel Legends; they aren?t in the planogram so they have no place to actually go in the store. If there is no place to put them, off the floor they have to go.
