One last PnP to wrap up this FSS, lol. "Little Billy" is from one of those Walmart/Bass Pro outdoors sets.

Since it's kind of on-topic, I've got one of the Target Past & Present Rockslide/Snow Job sets for sale on my BST, if anyone's looking for one.
Now, for my contribution--I don't have the V1 Rock-Viper, but I have the GvC Python Patrol version, and the 50th (PoC) version; and, colors aside, there's a fairly significant difference in design. You can kinda see where they were going on the modern version with the armguards and shinguards, but using Snake Eyes' wasn't the best choice they could have made--especially due to the restricted range of elbow movement (it's really bad). I also miss the visored helmet and mustache (which I assume is mandatory for enlistees). The scoped rifle on the 50th is arguably an improvement over THE BIGGEST RIFLE EVER issued to the classic, but I miss the classic's little handheld grenade launcher. And on the classic version, the grappling hook attaches to the backpack, unlike the new version, where they just dangle. And the classic version's rifle attaches to his backpack, too! This is one case where the implementation of the classic figure trumps the modern one, in my opinion, even if the modern one is more "detailed" and "advanced".

Here's a couple more:
Joe Colton; the ARAH mail-away promo figure versus the Bruce Willis interpretation from Retaliation: This one was inspired by my recent discovery of Mezco's 4'' Mortal Kombat figure line. It's cheating a little bit, because it's cross-company, but here's Hasbro's "totally NOT G.I. Joe, guys" version of Mortal Kombat's Sub-Zero versus the Jazwares version from about 4 or 5 years ago: I'll update this one once I have the Mezco version as well (which looks considerably nicer than the Jazwares version).

Tis bout time the beloved Skyhawk showed up in the Past-Present thread! One of my all time fav vehicles. Back when I was a kid the "no windshield" never bothered me....today, I think it looks ridiculous without one; especially when sitting next to the modern update!

Wow, I never realized how much of a difference there was between the ME version and the classic version (the only version I own is from the 50th Battle Below Zero). I always assumed they just took the old molds, dusted 'em off, and reissued them with a ME figure. I was aware that SOME vehicles got a bit of a design upgrade, but I didn't know how extensive this one's was. (Too bad they didn't seem to upgrade the cockpit space, though.)

i don't know how i've never seen this thread before. it's definitely one of my new favorites. that Ghostrider custom is bad ass. that's how that jacket should be used. i thought he was from a sdcc set or something. excellent job.
