I thinking of idea of which GI Joe Figures to be released as FSS, If FSS are planning to released them due of angry complains of some who didn't see their favorite characters get remake.

Are we talking figures we would want or figures the club would put into future FSS's if they were having more?

If it’s the first, it will just be sad thinking of what we’ll never get because the club had to do every foreign TF figure.
If it’s the latter, I’m gonna grab some popcorn cause this should be funny.

Business Suit Xamot was in an earlier FSS. Tomax is in FSS 7.0.
No idea who "9. Wet-Down or 10. Tall Sally" are. 3 FSS = 39 figures. Add in a Joe Con and SDCC exclusives and you can easily get up to 55 figures. And since 3 FSS would take minimum two years, you could even have two JoeCons and two SDCC exclusives. But we'll stick with 55 for now, as that will basically complete what's left of ARAH aside from the really off-the-wall stuff in '93 & '94. I'd go for: 0 - Gnawgahyde's boar and Voltar's condor 1 - Lightfoot 2 - Backblast 3 - Downtown 4 - Toxo-Viper v1 5 - T.A.R.G.A.T. 6 - Falcon v1 (though I have a nice custom) 7 - Dress Blues Gung-Ho 8 - Super Trooper 9 - Steam Roller 10 - Night Force Lightfoot (easy repaint) 11 - Listen & Fun Tripwire (easy repaint) 12 - a proper TF Tripwire (easy repaint) 13 - Motor Viper (though I have a decent custom, official colors and better limbs than Nitro Viper v2 would be nice) 14 - Gyro-Viper 15 - Rumbler (easy parts build) 16 - Golobulus 17 - Royal Guard 18 - The Fridge 19 - Sea Slug to finish off '87 20 - Night Force Sneak Peek (easy repaint; even tough I have a nice custom) 21 - Astro Viper 22 - Hydro-Viper 23 - A proper TF Dusty (easy repaint) 24-29 - Armadillo, Ferret, Nullifier, Secto-Viper, Sgt. Slaughter v3 (easy repaint), and Wild Card to finish off '88. 30 - Countdown 31-37 - Dogfight, Hot Seat, Long Range, Payload v2 (easy repaint), Track Viper, Wild Boar, and Windchill to finish off '89 38 - Rapid Fire 39 - Stretcher 40-45 - Cold Front, Decimator, Major Storm, Overlord, Updraft, Vapor to finish off '90 46 - Cobra Commander v4 47 - Grunt v3 48 - Incinterators 49 - Tracker 50 - Major Altitude which mostly completes '91 aside from a handful of egregious repaints 51 - Flak Viper 52 - Snake Eyes v5 53 - Night Creeper v2 54 - Red Ninjas v1 55 - assuming FSS 8.0 13th is Banzai, then Slice v2 which mostly completes the core of '92-'94 Now, to get back down to 39 figures for three FSS: Remove 2 from the above list for the SDCC exclusive: For example, an SDCC special 3-pack: Golobulus with a pair of Royal Guards Remove 14 from the above list that will be used for JoeCon exclusives as follows: JoeCon box set: "Operation Sunbow DiC Punch" ;) Pick 6 Joes and 3 Cobras from the above list to form a box set. *Cobras would be 3 doubled up or 1 unique, a two-some, and a three-of-a-kind Pick two more Joes for vehicle drivers Pick one more Joe as paradrop figure Pick two more Joes/Cobras for 3-packs And you're back at 39 figures, which is three FSS series of 12+1 figures. Now consider that the Club, once it knew it was losing the license, still had FSS 7, FSS 8, and a JoeCon (and probably an SDCC), and you begin to realize how completing most of the remaining ARAH was not that far out of reach. 26+16 = 42, which would have basically gotten us completely done up through '90, or mostly done through '90 plus a handful of later figures that most would want more than the last few drivers/pilots from pre-'91. Remember that if you're one of the few people who can't understand the disappointment many have with the Club's figure choices. Last edited by edgecrusher; 10-03-2018 at 11:50 AM.. |
