This is not a classified ad. I am not selling anything at this time.
But I do have a lot of MOC Funskool stuff, and some unopened Wave 5 stuff from back in 2002 that was supposedly rare being internet only. How do you guys figure out the value of your stuff? I have tossed around the idea of selling these things, but perusing Ebay has turned up nothing for comparison. I've kept this stuff in storage for years now, hoping that someday I will be able to pursue my hobby again, but reality is wearing in and things just don't always turn out how you'd like. I could use the money and I have no room in my apartment for these things. I can almost guarantee it'll be at least 2 years before I can get into a house and I've thrown around the idea of getting rid of the stuff. Mathius |

Well man first make a list of what you have and see if anybody on here can help you find out prices. You said you already looked at eBay but that is still a good place to start. I have seen alot of funskool on there recently. I'm curious to see what all you gave myself. Now the wave 5 from 2002 I'm not to familiar with but I'm sure there is someone here who can help

Make a B/S/T thread and list all the stuff you want to rid yourself of. Make sure you put a link to it in your signature. Then do this...
By the way, check out my B/S/T list in my sig everyone!

I think its safe to say that whatever the items you have are selling for on ebay(shipped) is an accurate auction value. That's a good place to start. Retail prices are actually a little bit higher in my experience, up to 30-40% in some cases. Good luck.

Only way to get the best prices is by putting it on ebay & hope somebody overseas wins it.
I had a MIB Transformers G1 Quickswitch. I was thinking $30-$35. I put it on ebay & it sold for $153.00 to a guy in China. If I put it on a board like this I would have sold it for $30 & totally screwed myself. |

The Wave 5 stuff from 2002 was the internet only stuff from entertainment earth that had the Serpentor/Shock Viper 2 pack and Tomax/Xamot, etc. I have at least one unopened case, and some MOC stuff from that wave. I have never seen an unopened case for sale anywhere, and even the figures themselves seem rare on Ebay, but not necessarily selling for a lot. Mathius |

I check the bay to get an idea of prices and then post on Craigslist in multiple surrounding cities. Works for me.
