25th was great, and i hope they continue to remake classic Joes in the new styling, but when the line died down last summer i looked around...
I was staring at all of the figures that i was using 2 years prior, just in a new sculpt... My ARAH joes were put up, replaced by the superior (in my opinion) 25th/ME versions. And not much had really changed...
Along comes the RoC line... Great figures, new outfits, and if you didn't like the character's names, you could just change them up and *BAM* instant new army... I liked the uniformity of the blue camo, then later the greens... I liked the RIA look... Didn't care for the Delta-6 suits too much, but i still got them, they can stand in for STAR Brigade until i get them going with customs...
Speaking of customs... This line brought a ton of new parts into the mix. Badly needed female sculpts, tons of new web gear...
So, with a lot of negative feelings about this toy line, i thought it would be nice to have a thread to say something positive about it.

If all we get in the future is lots of Frankenjoes and repaints from Hasbro, at least now they have more to work with!

However, offscreen joes and other vehicle figures I found great for the most part. The Offscreen 2 packs, the Base sets from Walmart, vehicle drivers like Rampage and Thunderblast that definitely fit in with my 25th/Classic, plus Resolute Snake Eyes and the TRU exclusive single packs with Firefly, BBQ, Doc and the like. Lots of stuff to like about the set, just not the primary characters for me.

RoC had a vey real world feel to much of the line as far as the figures are concerned. Too bad they dropped the ball on that end with the Cobras, but the fact that they tried to make the Joes look a little bit more like a real unit was very, very cool.

However, I did like getting more modern weapons and I really enjoyed the offscreen characters.
