It only slowed a little. I do have to say that I did buy over 50 gray Neo Vipers, so in that respect It didn't slow much.

Slowed down a lot after picking up CS Snake Eyes. Pretty much focusing now on rebuilding my Transformers collection.

Mine's increased because I can actually find stuff on the shelves now. With the 25th I could never find anything and I refuse to pay online e-tailer prices most of the time.

I started buying more w/ROC myself. The lower pricepoint of 5/6 a figure from walmart/target drove me to getting more. While I love some of the 25th stuff, I truly hated some of it, and I'm not some sort of freak purist who feels any alteration destroys a line, so ROC didn't bug me much. Toys are neat, no matter how much I didn't enjoy the movie.

I have 80 Joes on my piano right now. Most are new additions. Some VvV, but largely ROC and 25th. My collecting needs to slow down for a little while. The discount bins have kind to me. Only one of the 80 was a full price single carded figure. Everything else was on clearance. Without clearance I wouldn't have much.

Slowed tons! Enjoying Masters of the Universe Classics now... until a movie comes along and ruins the toys.

I have only bought about 20+/- Rise of Cobra figures... And all of those were cherry picked. I think the only vehicle I have bought from ROC was the Target excleusive CLAW.
I really liked these figures from ROC line: 1. Pitt Comando 2. Dessert Duke 3. PP. Baroness 4. Destro 5. Injured Storm Shadow 6. Monkey Wrench 2 pack 7. Gung Ho 2 pack 8. City Strike Snake Eyes 9. Cover girl was ok so I got her too 10. Scarlet in grey Cammo 11. General Hawk I did buy several Wall Mart battle stations though. I'm seriously considering getting the Dessert troop builder and Benchpress figures from Toys R Us too. I can't stand the Mars troopers and Neo vipers though.

Mine slowed dramaticly.I loved the 25th Ann line but the ROC line just did't seem like GI Joe to me.If anything I only picked up what I thought looked cool. These are the only things I pcked up:
Raven-got it when it was on sale at Kmart for 24.99 Serpent armor-Forget about the stupid viper figure it came with Now and then Rockslide-Loved the ARH Version didn't care for the ROC version Ice Saber-I liked this vehicle Cobra Gunship-Yeah,its dinky next to what we saw in the film but I looked neat too There were some good and not so good things but that was what I liked Figure wise: Charbroil Dr Lewis City Strike Snake eye That was it for ROC for me. |
