I don't put my faith in " the best of" " movie of the year" etc. All those polls are just collected opinions. There are some awesome ROC figures that I would have bought if the packaging was different and they didn't have all those stupid spring loaded missle things.
B. I wasn't aware the packaging was an essential part of a toy's playability after it goes in the trash. Sorry, but your argument fails on multiple fronts. |

This. Even as someone who collects above all, I still have my stuff open on display, not trapped in some plastic cardboard trapping on my wall collecting dust looking like an eerie museum.

[QUOTE=Zefram;1311421]A. The Pit Commando didn't come with a spring-loaded anything.

[QUOTE=manicmotive;1311438]Add to that the fact there are something like a 130 possible combinations of gear, and how well they can fit in with other lines. Need some extra Gotham City riot police? Need to generic troops for your Bullseye to run through, that's the benifit of judging a toy on its own merits instead of just how good a GI Joe toy it is.

I certainly don't want another Morray, but I won't speak for those who do...
I like SOME of the Rise of Cobra figures: 1. Dessert camo Duke is awesome (as Duke or an army builder) 2. Trenchcoat Snake Eyes is pretty cool 3. Injured Storm Shadow is Awesome 4. PP Baroness is cool 5. Benchpress great as a new character or custom fodder! 6. TRU excluseive Snow Serpent is great 7. Pitt Comando is AWESOME for army building, cusomizing and accessies just a complete home run! 8. The Doctor is great for custom fodder 9. ROC has also given us lots of new Female bodies for customizing. The vehicles on the other side... So far they don't appeal to me at all. I'm on the fence bout the Night Raven, and Cobra Hummer but that is about it... And I can't complain too much since Hasbro has found a way to sneak out some vintage and Resolute figures along the way 1. Resolute Gung Ho 2. Resolute Road Block 3. Resolute Snake Eyes 4. Monkey Wrench 5. Resolute Airborne 6. Resolute Beach Head I realize it hasn't all been great but its not all bad either. I think that Hasbro will come back to the Collector market in 2012 with 30th Anniversary figures. How cool might that be?!!?!? Tankers are the best Joe fans!

Which ones are these? The figures that come with the Snarler? Was Beach Head even in Resolute?

they came with the crappy motorcycle and Beach head had a non-speaking role in Resolute. He was with the team that rescued the Scintists from Destro and the Baroness. And he was seen in the pan shot of the team when Duke was talking....
