If Joe is terminated in Greece, then it may be the end for other parts of Europe as well. I wouldn't be surprised if the "Pursuit of Cobra" line is just a bunch of talk, prototypes and other undeveloped stuff. ROC Part 2? I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you. |

Let's keep in mind that just because the Joe line didn't sell well in Greece doesn't mean PoC and the rest of the Joe goodies we are waiting for are destined to be canceled.
Hasbro has incredibly deep pockets, and although they aren't stupid enough to keep beating a dead horse, I'm sure they planned for an extremely long lead time for the Joe concept to gain a foothold with buyers- both foreign and domestic. Transformers is actually somewhat of a fluke if you think about it, in that both the movie and toys are mega-popular with buyers worldwide, but it doesn't always happen that way. Look no further than the Terminator Salvation, Avatar, and other similar toy product lines from 2009 to serve as a reminder of how fickle and discerning buyers can be. In other words, although Hasbro may dial back production (they'd be stupid not to), it would be unsavy to completely lose the ground they've already gained by canceling the line outright. The holidays were somewhat telling and most places where I shop the Joe pegs are very sparce. Again, dial back production to more accurately meet demand and you can continue selling Joe product until (and if) that larger audience they are hoping for grabs ahold of this brand in earnest. |

Wow that's tough! If you need any figures sent over let me know and we can work something out! I'm sure between the 'Tank and other sites you can find anything your looking for. I know it doesn't replace that "I got it at retail" feeling, but at least you get your Joes!
