Have you been collecting the entire time from the vintage ARAH line to now, or did you stop collecting as a youngster and pick it up later as an adult.
I was a hardcore GI Joe collecter as a kid, got out of it probably around middle school. This past Spring, I was planning on raiding my parents attic and getting rid of all of my old toys on Ebay. Anyway, one slow afternoon at work, I checked out Ebay to see what figures were going for. Long story short, after not buying a single Joe for about 17 years, I bought a complete Firefly and complete Mutt and Junkyard, didn't sell ANY of my ols Joes, and I've been hooked ever since. This is friggin great. I love this stuff. I've been able to get all of the Joes that I didn't have as a kid, like '85 Snake -Eyes, '84 Storm Shadow and almost all of the figures from '82-'84. I feel like I'm living my childhood again at 31 years old, and I love it! |

Got back into it due to the 25th. Couldn't resist those 5-packs. Classic look, updated sculpt, soundboxes? How could I say no?
Then came the 25th/Modern Era line...

I stopeed around 85, or 86. Then when my son got into RoC, I discovered the 25th line had happened. The quality of the figures is amazing. Very cool stuff.

I stopped in '93. Picked up some random things from GVC, Spytroops, and VvV but not of it really captivated me. Got back in during the end of '08 and been hooked since. I'm slowly building up my vintage again while getting some of the ROC stuff here and there. I love this hobby.
