Since this playset may never be made, what kind of fantasy HQ or Pit or Terror Drome would you like to have? Would you simply want an upgraded stationary HQ like the original but with some more roooms and accessories? An exact replica of the first Pit with multiple levels and hydraulic lifts? A modernized Pit like the one in IDW? Perhaps a taller Terror Drome with several floors? Maybe Destro's castle with trap doors and hidden passages?
What kind of rooms would you want? Armory? Dojo? Shooting Range? Maintenance? Weight Room? Briefing Rooms? A Lounge? Jail cells? Sick bays? Combat Center? Long hallways for chase scenes? Stair wells or/and elevators? Guard towers? Security portals? How would you furnish your HQ? Ammo crates? Footlockers? Tables and chairs? Bunk beds? Computer consoles? Fuel drums? Weapons lockers/racks? And how would you defend it? Anti-aircraft missiles/guns? Machine gun bunkers or loop holes? Barbed wire and perimeter fence? Mine fields? Booby traps? Guard dogs? Security gates and guard houses? Secret entrances and escape exits? |

I would like something like the original, I think. I never had it and having been more familiar with the cartoon than the comics as a kind, that's what I like more. If it was a PIT though I would like something like the underground and multilevel. What was the second base in the DD Americas Elite run, the Rock? Something where 180 degrees of it is a stone mountain with hidden doors and flat top with a little shack and elevator or helo pad. Turn it around and the other 180 degrees is open, 3 or 4 levels with 2 or 3 rooms per level with a control station, motor pit, stockade, the works. Of course I doubt I could ever justify owning anything like this.

My fantasy pit would be what Hasbro made for Joecon last year. That thing was AWESOME.
Any HQ I'd want would have to have everything: Armory, medical bay, locker room, bunk room, command center, jail, mess hall, etc.. And all would have to be in scale for the size of the Joe team. 4 beds just would not cut it for me. So will never see my fantasy PIT or HQ. Wouldn't mind a newer version of the 83

Yeah I'd love a new version of the 83 mold but could you imagine a full-scale Pit with a barracks capable of supporting all of your Joes. It would take up an entire bedroom from floor to ceiling. Like a gigantic Joe doll house. I think a multi-level structure would look best with elevators and stair wells, hallways, offices, with a helo pad on top and motor pool on the bottom floor. But the top floor would be only floor above ground and there would be some outdoor facilities like a guardhouse, etc.

I would have to go with a redo of the 1983 GI joe HQ.As stated before.I never owned it but that would have been what I likeed to have seen.Maybe a multi layered base with a motor pool and so on.

Would look similar to the 83 HQ. but make it a tad bigger.
with maybe....I dunno...future add on parts sold separately. Have the initial HQ playset, than you can get more rooms that could be added to it. I saw a series of dollhouse stuff like this. Each room was sold separately so you could pick and choose what goes in it. and make it as big as you want. Same with a Terrordrome. Just re release the old one and make it compatible with current Joes figures. Maybe add some cardboard stuff for the front to make it look like its in a jungle or something. like the Power Rangers base playset had. Look it up. Its way cool. |

A pit filled with jello, me and Megan Fox...
Eh - oh The G.I.Joe pit!? A multilayered pit ala the one in Marvel comics would be just fine - They could even make a nice way of doing it, create one level at a time, make them stack - voila! |

Remember the old school Death Star playset?
I'd be happy with a multi level job like that. Elevator, Vehicle elevator, garage, detention center, controll room, training area, and guard towers would be cool. |
