The Dragonhawk WB is close, but no cigar. The toon had WB with more of a strapped vest than the flight suit gear thing, plus a different colored hat. Same with WM RB... Same head and body, different webgear/vest...but of course they did release T-rat as a resolute carded figure, but his colors and sculpt were way off.
I'm just saying, since a lot of people are being picky about stuff.

The only ones that are true Resolute figures are those that came in Resolute packaging and are from the Resolute cartoon designs.
Duke, Cobra Commander, Trooper, Jet Pack Duke, Red Cobra Officer, Red Trooper, Red Cobra Commander The Resolute comic packs were not in the Resolute cartoon and are not Resolute designs: Shockwave/Pilot Destro; Tunnel Rat/Storm Shadow City Strike Snake-Eyes is a Resolute design, but is not Resolute packaging. Wal-Mart Battle Station Roadblock is neither, but he shares a headsculpt with a leaked Resolute Roadblock that had been seen. Wal-Mart 2-pack Gung-Ho is not Resolute packaging, but he does resemble the Resolute design. That's it.

No, see my list above. He's video game.
That's it for anything connected to Resolute. Really it comes down to what is your definition of a Resolute figure: 1- Resolute Packaging and Resolute Design 2- Resolute Design and packaging doesn't matter 3- Anything in Resolute packaging regardless of design walmart gung ho Cs SE roc flash tru FF walmart RB accessories dont make them res man wow. its the look and feel you get form them. cuse if it was the accessories that made them res. then jungle ripcord would be res as he has 2 guns from res. so your def is not right sorry man. i go by the feel or if they look close enough to the look of res. roc dosent have any place in my joe verse. |

I started my own Resolute collection which consist of...
Wave 13 Res Duke Wave 13 Res Cobra Commander Wave 13 Res Cobra Trooper Res 5pk Duke Res 5pk Cobra Trooper ROC TRU Firefly (place holder until 7-pack arrives, then he'll go somewhere else) ROC Flash ROC City Strike Snake Eyes ROC Gung-Ho (I started kitbashing him with the Res 5pk Duke shins, feet and hands) I'd like an aftermarket resculpted head if possible. ROC Wild Bill (I know he looked a lot like the 25th version in the movie, but this will work for now. Esp since the Dragonhawk has Res styling, even though it looks nothing like what we saw in the movie) ROC TRU 5pk Dial Tone (she 'fits' with what they portrayed the character to be in the movie) I'll be adding the 7 packs as soon as I can get a hold of them. Those will cancel out any placeholders I would have had for Roadblock, Scarlett, Storm Shadow, Destro, and Baroness if I had ponied up the cash for the China samples. I skipped the Res 5pk Cobra Commander, Cobra Officer and BAT as they are simple repaints. I won't deny the Officer a slot if it is offered to me because it's just a logo that makes him different, but I won't be actively searching for it either. The Res 5pk BAT may end up with my 25th army as a specialized 'heavy lifter: construction BAT' or something like that. Now I just need more cheap wave 13 Res Cobra Troopers... FYI - When it comes to collecting Joes, right now I have my 25th collection which is figures that are as close as possible to their vintage counterparts with a few new additions (Para Viper, Arashikage training Snake Eyes, etc), then I have my ROC collection of movie figures with a few extras (like Bench Press and Shipwreck), Then there's my Resolute Joes as described above, and finally there are all the extras that will get displayed as a mish mash of figures etc (like the o-ring re-releases, VvV and JvC, and also any figures I haven't found a home for yet like PnP Snow Job in the 25th sculpt. I just don't see a need for him right now. Maybe my son can have him).

By the way, this is a great Resolute resource page:
G.I. Joe: Resolute Characters SuperPage | Generals Joes - A blog about the importance (or unimportance) of little plastic men I never thought about ROC Flash. Did he come out in the cartoon? Which character did he represent?

I agree pretty much with darthdrew13's thinking. I'll even add that Helix is up there close with the Resolute design aesthetic with Flash. Whether they're ROC or video game or whatever, names don't matter to me, it's a mix of who showed up in the movie and their design aesthetics.
I parted out my Dragonhawk WB for customs, but it's a great WB, and he has a new head that's the right size. I really liked the Dial-Tone figure but I really just like the Helix head with brown hair, and it's a good female torso. I don't care for the character but liked her. The camo throws me as fitting in 100%, but I'd say she fits in as a Reso character, despite the design. People can say who fits where and I'm not arguing with anyone, but I feel like the Gung Ho was meant as a Resolute GH just in RoC packaging the same as NF TR and Shockwave were. |

Yo xhairs... you blatantly state that it's the 'look and feel' one gets that makes it resolute... so then how can you tell Troynos
that the look and feel of the accessories don't matter?? "accessories dont make them res man wow. its the look and feel you get form them. cuse if it was the accessories that made them res. then jungle ripcord would be res as he has 2 guns from res. so your def is not right sorry man." -xhairs Quote: Originally Posted by Troynos Fine, but it's the accessories that would make him Resolute.

Hasbro through this whole thing into disarray recently, and will now confuse everyone: the new carded Alley Viper will both be in Resolute AND homage to the original heads. Yet, it will be on a PoC card? I guess, with that figure, everyone wins?

The paint schemes will be different for the POC and Resolute 7-pack versions though.
