All of 'em. Have you ever tried talking to someone who doesn't collect figs or do any fan stuff, about how you got your Alpine fig? You can see in their eyes just how silly we all are.

I dig Wild Bill. Always liked the character. His head is a bit undersized, but not as badly as everybody likes to make it seem. Try putting Bill's hat on Duke, especially Tiger Force Duke. Yeah, who's pin headed now? I wound up modding TF Duke's head for use on a female character, and it was still almost too small for that body.
I also think that the single carded Viper is a great figure. Contrary to popular belief, he has just as much if not more ankle articulation than most 25th figures, and his goggles stay on just fine, if you just push them down a little. He's also the only GI Joe figure, pretty much ever, who looks like he knows what he's doing, when he holds a rifle. ROC Desert Duke is a close second on that, but I don't like that figure. I'm gonna go ahead and put Scarlett in here. I like her lower leg rotation, and her head sculpt. That said, I did end up modifying mine to not only be able to bend her knees farther, but I also repositioned her neck to lose the osteoporosis look. I like Spirit too, but I did make some modifications to his accessories, so that he can hold his rifle, and move his legs. |
