I actually moved to collecting other lines ie DCUC because for that amount of money spent on them at least they are 6 inc figs with an incentive of a C&C if I desire. But to pay close to 9 for a joe in my eyes far too much.

I'd pay $15 a figure if they were figures I gave a damn about, regardless of 25th or ROC packaging. Give them to me in a ziplock bag, all I care.
But I'd pay $15 a figure twice if they sold them in 25th style, because I was collecting that series MOSC due to the vintage style, but I also got openers for 90% of them. Throw in troop-builders, and I'll get at least another two openers, if not 4. I don't like the ROC packaging at all, and I don't even keep the cards. That's the difference packaging makes for a collector. We may be a small chunk of the market, but we're OCD and buy big. |
