You know the 25th annie Ace fits in the vintage Skystriker nicely.

A new Skystriker would with the correct wing formation (swept wings when landing gear is out, wings to side when in the air) would finally satisfy a huge annoyance from my childhood.
But, it would be such a large item with alot of non-functional plastic. For that reason I could see why a manufacturer wouldn't be thrilled about making it. Most "kids' toys" nowadays have about every square inch of the item being used for something. The Skystriker has the cockpit, detachable missles, landing gear and the wings move. But about 65% of the mold would be "negative space", so to speak.

I would have much rather had the vintage Night Raven mold instead. The Skystriker never really floated my boat.
