I have been sick since Thursday night so I haven't ventured out of the sanctuary 'til this afternoon.
I could tell a dent had been made in the Joes, but they weren't ransacked by any means. Nothing really was. Star Wars and Transformers took hits but were still standing. The sad Star Trek section at TRU was untouched, though.

From what i saw and what i have heard, Joes sold really well during BF. My Target had a sale on the Deluxe Exclusive Packs and sold almost all of them. Just a few wave 1 and 1 wave 2 hanging right now...I didn't even know about the sale...

My Walmart had 171 Joes on inventory when I checked Thanksgiving day when we put up new wave 5 stuff ( I picked up a CS SE, Charbroil and Night Adder).
Last night I ran the UPC again down to 77 with 48 more ordered (all wave 5 cases on the order noice for locals still needing them) which should arrive in a week or so. We normally have 3 rows of 4 pegs each in the Joe section and two end caps of 2 rows with 5 pegs each up at a time each peg holds 5. So we normally have a 100 on the floor when full stocked. For the first time in months we were not fully stocked after a restock last night.

The singles sold extremely well here, cleared out a lot of old stock. Checked four Walmarts since black friday morning and all four had wave 5 where only one had them before.
Only found the battle stations at one store, all sold but the missile set. Tons of ninja battles sets left, these things are a dog imo. |

I noticed a definite thinning out of the single carded figures. And Tar-no-get put out the first of the Snake Armor.

Nothing sold at my Walmart. I went in the late afternoon on Friday & the Joe section wasn't touched.
They only had 2 Rex figures the night before, I was sure those at least would have been gone but they were both still there. Doesn't look good at all. That store still has cases of wave 1 & 2 on pallets. They're not going to get rid of them unless they put them down to $1.50 like Indiana Jones. |

Our Targets in the Cleveland area sold a decent amount. The shelves look ready for some new items to be stocked. Here is to hoping.

From what I saw Joes didn't do all that well on Black Friday. HOWEVER, they also weren't on sale. The last few sales over the past 3 weeks (TRU figures, vehicles, and KMart) saw the stores do really well. I haven't been to Target in forever, I really need to get up there.
I think money is tight around here, and people are hunting the deals. So I think everyone that was going to buy them, already had for the most part. -13 |

Two Targets near me remain the same. Guess not even grandmas want those Crappy figs.
