Looking at the pics of the newest Copperhead made me wonder... what is the most times Hasbro has used a single mold? Does anyone have any clue?
Maybe it could be broken down: 1. Full Mold ???? 2. Body (minus the head?) 25th Anniversary Duke? 3. most-used torso ???? 4. most-used legs 25th Anniversary Snow-Job? ...and so on... |

I've wondered this myself!
The break-downs are a good idea I'm excluding Cobra Commander, since most of his releases are nearly identical and not used on other figures. Still not sure if he'd come out on top in any category. These are guesses and ideas I'm throwing up in the air, since I cant actually count now. Torso - Snake Eyes v1. Its on not just several Snake Eyes, but many of the original 13, and several other figures have it under their vests and webgear. The padded torso may be safe since its releases are divided into smooth and quilted style Cobra Soldier's parts have gone to many variations of Cobra troops, with the head being seen a lot. Those cursed arms have been overused, as well as those damn legs, often missing a knife. The entire Torpedo body has been used often with either no changes, or changes on in the arms. Snow Job legs may be right as far as full leg sets. They've got swappable holsters for diversity too. Some other generic legs are often seen paired with different thighs/calves. Those cursed Tiger Force Flint arms! Wild Bill gets my own personal prize for having 4 identical releases of an entire sculpt that I didnt want more than once, but he kept getting tossed into sets I did want. Lately, those MARS/Viper bodies have been released in ridiculous amounts. I hope someone else is better at this. I'm wondering which parts have been used on the most separate characters. In also wonder which uncovered head has been passed off as the most different people. Flash? |

in my opinion the most over-used mold that hasbro has used is the r.o.c. viper body.it's been used for every cobra and m.a.r.s trooper out there as well as the red fang ninja.
