POC Desert Assault Ripcord In Hand and Up Close Pics

So, I just got my Ripcords in the mail today from Ws_Toys. It took him a little while to get them in the mail, but daaamn, once they were they got here quick. A week at most. This figure is everything I wanted it to be and more. Not only is it cool on its own, but the customizing possibilities are endless. Targat as someone suggested, a Modern Era Ripcord(the real one), Airtight(my personal plan), etc. I took several pics since I hadn't seen any up close and personal of 'ole Rip yet. Hope you enjoy.

I don't know what these small hooks or whatever are on the back of his boots. Maybe a part of the jump kit.

my new sky patrol.

A few part swaps and I'll have Targat. Only wish I had a vice to separate torsos.

I bet they will repaint it as Targat though.

Aww, you gotta let the new guys get one in once in a while, lol. I was really hoping that the Snow Job and Zartan would be with them since I only got the one shipping notice. Maybe tomorrow.

I like the Sky Patrol idea.... maybe once these hit retail I'll follow that train of thought down the tracks a little further. I want to start painting/customizing one of these, but I'm afraid as soon as I do, they'll change something about it before it hits shelves and I'll have ruined a rare piece.

I could use the figure, but all the rest of that gear would have to go.

Surprisingly, the huge amount of gear does little to impede the articulation of the figure. And it stands pretty well, though the battle stand is needed for the wings out position. The way the harnesses are separate pieces around the legs, the legs really have a great range of movement.

the ripcords went out next day. so if you ordered them before a thursday (i think) they'd be shipped the next day. and the zartans and snowjobs were all the following week or something right?

I think that was the order in which I...ordered them, yeah. But it wasn't until after I had purchased the Snow Job and Zartan that I got a notice saying that my "order" had shipped, and it listed all four figures(2 Rips, 1 SJ, 1 Zartan). Either way, I trust them, they've always treated me well, so I'm not concerned. I'm just antsy to get new/fun toys to play with.....I..I..I mean look at.
