IKEA DETOLF + SMALLJOES APEX stand = Great Case

Hi. First time poster here.

I found that the adding the smalljoes.com Apex stands (just the stand parts) to the Ikea Detolf Case($60) is a great way to display your Joes. It's a perfect fit!

I put all my ROC joes on the bottom shelf. In that pic you can see the Pit Trooper vest on the Crimson Neo Viper, it works for me.
Also, while it's not popular, I love the green cammo ROC Grunt from TRU. Actually the whole ROC Senior Ranking Joe set is great even though it is strictly repaints.

Pretty damn cool Sasquatch, I bet IKEA has some lighting options too. Nice set up man. Welcome to the Tank.

Thanks for sharing the info. I use barrister bookcases to display my joes. they look nice, but they cost about $120 each. There are also areas that are dark in the case because they're made of wood and not transparent like the ikea case. The positive side is that they're probably twice the size of the ikea case. Is that made of tempered glass?

No its $50 bucks without the light. Light will add another $10-$20 upwards of 30 depedning on which light you want. I got the $35 lights in mine since there is 4 in the chain and light every level, especially when the stands get in the way. Wish Hasbro would make the stands clear...

No kidding. Home Dept/Lowes sells small round lights that can strung along. They are meant to go underneath cabinets etc. When I got my hands on my display case for my Thundercats, I pulled all the industrial hardware and lighting out and replaced it with those. I think they cost about $20 bucks for a 5 pack.

I will def go check out IKEA now for this. Great way to display my convention sets.

Diferrence is LED vs. Halogen. The leds last way longer and come in colors. Plain hot halogens are so 90s

I have the same display case myself I'm trying to figure out how to add four more glass shelves to get the majority of my stuff in one display. Bugs me seeing over 7" of empty space that can hold more of my figures.
