Yeah that happened with my wave 1 SS. A few months ago, it fell off my shelf and landed on the bubble(no damage to the bubble) and when I picked it up, the bubble was coming off the card, no damage to the card, so I think they didn't use enough glue or whatever, to keep the bubble on the card.

Did it damage the card(i.e.- tear the paper). If not, just dab some super glue on the bubble and put it back. I have no intentions of selling my MOCs so that's what I'd do.

No, no card damage, but it's detaching right at the bottom, right hand corner of the bubble. I should just use some glue and fix it, you're right

I got two figures from HTS during the holidays, Destro and Buzzer, that the bubbles were just falling off. like you said, no card damage whatsoever, just clean separation.

That really sucks for the MOC collectors, however, this might be pretty good for loose collectors. Now they can get the rest of the bubble off and preserve the card art

Glue will do the job. Be careful as some glues will leave a residue on a small portion around the applied area.
A little off topic - (I did not want to start a whole thread for this) CI.A.D. do you or Destro have the ear from anyone that works at Hasbro. I'm not talking about a customer support line but a real mover and shaker of the company? |
