heres a little photo of the loot I pulled out of boxes in the basement, the figures and vehicles need alot of work. Whats not shown there are 2 battle platforms, terrordrome (though the box flap on the bottom right is the terror drome box) and 2 moble hqs. Some of this is my own stuff, others were from garage sales my brother picked stuff up from.

Strange to be English and a JOE fan. We got the one wave of GI JOE figures on the red, white & blue ACTION FORCE cards then the line vanished for a while.
Suddenly, in '86 or '87, we were hit with the more traditional (to the U.S. fans) cards and the new design of the packaging re-ignited my love for the line. I vividly recall going into my local TOY & HOBBY for something completely unrelated (possibly Transformers) to be confronted with a rack of gorgeous card art & "Action Force" characters I'd never heard of (the '85 line-up). Who the heck were the "Dreadnoks"? Where was DUKE? Was this FLINT guy his replacement? I picked up FOOTLOOSE, BAZOOKA, a CRIMSON GUARD and an EEL there and then, totally forgetting about the 'robots in disguise'. Joes in the UK... happy times.
